HauteKit ("we", "us") operates the GIF Maker mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Information the App handles

• Photos and videos you select are processed on your device to create GIFs; they are not uploaded to our servers.
• GIF search queries are sent to our GIF content provider to return results.

The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.

How information is used

The information described above is used only to run the App's core features: creating GIFs on your device and returning GIF search results. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Data storage and retention

We do not operate user accounts and do not maintain profiles of individual users. Content you create in the App is stored on your device and is under your control; deleting the App removes it. Search queries are transmitted only to return results and are not retained by us afterwards.

Data security

All network requests made by the App use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit what leaves your device to the minimum a feature needs. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but collecting less is the most reliable protection.

Your choices and rights

• You can use the App without providing any personal information.
• You can erase everything the App has created by deleting it from your device.
• Depending on where you live, the law may give you rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we do not hold identifiable user profiles, your device is the fastest place to exercise those rights — and you can always contact us with a request.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

The App is offered worldwide. GIF search queries are routed to our content provider's servers, which may be located in a country other than yours; using the search feature means you understand and accept this routing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
